Well the longest running saga in football is finally over!
Sanchez and Mkhitaryan have finally swapped clubs as Arsenal have officially completed the signing of 29-year-midfielder. Arsenal’s official website announced the deal we’ve all been praying for few hours back.
The outcome was an inevitability, things CAN go wrong in this sport, but we can all sleep easy in our beds tonight. Who got the better deal? For the answer to that question, only time will tell and the only people who can answer that question are Sanchez and Mkhitaryan themselves.
The love of football or money will play a part and both will need to show determination to win the fans over. The fans, of course, are football biggest critics and rightly so, they pay the players wages.
Sanchez spent three and a half years at Arsenal and had every opportunity to become a legend but his decision to go where the money is, shows plenty of his character.
Mkhitaryan likewise, had the same opportunity at Man United until falling out of favour with ”the special one”. That. I’m afraid is a slippery slope that very few climb, just ask Luke Shaw.

Hopefully, both go on to be happy and Henrikh finally gets to play with the freedom and guille we know he thrives on and produces the same form he showed in the Bundisliga in 2015.
This is what Mkhitaryan and Wenger said after completing the transfer.
Mkhitaryan said: ”I always dreamed of playing for Arsenal. I’m happy that we could finish the deal, it’s a dream come true because I’ve always dreamed of playing for Arsenal. Now that I’m here, I’ll do my best for this club to create history”.
Wenger added: “Henrikh is a very complete player. He creates chances, he defends well, he can absorb distances and he’s very committed as well. I must say he’s a player who has all the attributes.”
Words we want to hear lets hope he delivers.
