Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has named Juventus as a club likely to win the UEFA Champions League trophy this season, ahead of both teams’ clash on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.
Mourinho’s side head to the game against the Italian giants after a 2-2 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend, while Juventus played a 1-1 draw with Genoa in the Serie A encounter.
Mourinho also praised Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the best players of all time.
“Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the best players of all time and no one can say different than that, it’s as simple as that,” Daily Star quoted Mourinho as saying on Monday.
“Juventus now have a special player who makes a difference. They are more than contenders to win the Champions League in my opinion.
“Juventus have a lot to offer and an extra year experience with the same coach and structure.”
Mourinho added: “I’m going to play against one of the biggest teams in the world and that’s what motivates me.
“The challenge of tomorrow is to win the game but we will do our best and see how we stand against one of the best teams in Europe.
“We know it’s a big game and we are really prepared for the game tomorrow.”
